Situated in the peaceful Livradois-Forez national park,this welcoming chambres d'hôtes offers a quiet,
friendly oasis in a Maison de Bourg full of character.

We have spacious and comfortable bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities. Double and twin bedded rooms available.

Wake up to a traditional French breakfast, including; home-baked bread, just-cooked croissants, hot 'pains au chocolat', fresh juice and a never-ending supply of tea and coffee.

Dine 'en-famille' and enjoy traditional home cooked meals with an emphasis on local and seasonal produce.

Take pleasure in tasting the local cheeses, hams, wines and vegetables.

Spring asparagus - summer melons - fresh figs - delicious strawberries:- a world of gourmet foods and flavours from a bygone era.

And if you require a midday meal then your hosts will be delighted to provide a packed lunch. All special dietary needs catered for upon request.

We have two spacious and comfortable bedrooms which have been decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Choose between Les Cerises, a double bedded room with en-suite facilities and wonderful views towards the foothills of the Monts de Forez, and Les Abricots which also has en-suite facilities.

We offer home cooked evening meals by reservation at 18 euros per person including wine. Where possible we use produce from our own garden and local producers.

Attractions

The old market town of Arlanc has its own lace museum and Jardin pour la Terre surrounded by beautiful Auvergne countryside. With over 150km of paths, tracks and forest roads to explore, we are ideally situated for anyone who enjoys walking,scenic drives, birdwatching,cycling and fishing.Day trips to La Chaise Dieu,Le Puy en Velay,Vichy, Clermont Ferrand, Mont Dore and Sancy can be made.

Price

Open all year. Rooms are 50 euros per night (45 euros for single occupancy) including breakfast.

Evening meals by arrangement 18 euros, including wine.
